NW College of Construction (NWCOC) is one of the largest administrators of state registered apprenticeship programs in Oregon. NWCOC is also an authorized program administrator in SW Washington.
The college is recognized in both states for quality instruction, outreach, and recruitment of women and minority applicants.
What are the employer benefits of becoming a training agent?
NWCOC registered apprenticeship programs assist non-union employers develop a stable and reliable pipeline of highly-skilled workers for private and public works jobs. Joining one of our programs as a training agent allows you as a contractor to bid on public works that require workforce development.
Our training agents see increased productivity, lower recruitment costs, and reduced turnover rates due to this systematic training approach. In fact, 91% of apprentices that complete their training (journey out in their trade) are still employed nine months later.

- Attend a meeting of the Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee (JATC) to be considered for approval.
