Parkrose High School students built two incredible raw tiny houses over two years. The builds were supervised by an Oregon journey-level carpenter. Approximately 36 amazing students contributed over 11,000 build hours and now this labor of love is ready to find its new owner.

Parkrose High School students built two incredible raw tiny houses over two years. The builds were supervised by an Oregon journey-level carpenter. Approximately 36 amazing students contributed over 11,000 build hours and now this labor of love is ready to find its new owner.

While the students built two framed and ready to finish tiny houses, this auction is for one of them. There is a second auction running for the other structure.

Participating in this auction is a great way to support Parkrose High School students and for the new owner to appreciate their craftsmanship and artistic flair.

WHY THIS BUILD?

  • The purpose of this build was to provide Parkrose High School students a rigorous hands-on construction fundamentals training program immersing them in the construction industry. Building this tiny structure created a space for students to learn construction plans, layout, safety, and the proper use of various hand and power tools.
  • Students received real-world hands-on experience and earned credentials to help prepare for success in a construction career.
  • The NWCOC/ Parkrose High School program provides a direct pathway to an Oregon apprenticeship program which affords each student the opportunity to build generational wealth and a life-long career in the construction industry.

  • 2×6 Ceiling Rafters (16″ on center)
  • Roof: 2/12 slope roof, seam lock metal roof, Parkrose Bronco Green
  • Raw/Ready to Finish: Offers room for creativity and imagination with this beautiful shell, allowing you to finish it into the structure of your dreams! (No electrical or plumbing)
  • Comes with plans for interior finish

  • Iron Eagle Trailer: PAD trailer is a new 14k24 trailer, 2 axels, manufactured locally

OWNERSHIP TRANSFER

  • Buyer must make payment directly to Parkrose School District and take possession of structure WITHIN 1 WEEK of auction close. If structure is not claimed WITHIN 1 WEEK the bid will be cancelled and structure will be offered to next highest bidder
  • If the terms of the auction are not met, we reserve the right to cancel bid and offer structure to next highest bidder
