COURSE INFORMATION:
Train to be a Flagger for work zone traffic control!
In this Flagger Certification course, students will learn essential skills, including…
- Basic flagging signals
- Proper two-way radio communication
- Traffic control regulations for signage
- Sign placement
By ensuring a safe worksite and smooth traffic flow, flaggers help minimize liability and reduce inconvenience for road users.
Upon successful completion, students will receive an Oregon Department of Transportation flagger credential, valid for three years in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Flaggers must be at least 18 years old to work or get a job in Oregon, where they can make great money while contributing to safer roads.
The Flagging Certification course is taught IN-PERSON at our Portland, Oregon campus.
